Artist’s Note: A nod to Raiders of the Lost Ark and to every fly fisher who’s ever felt like an adventurer on the water. I wanted Woolbert to embody that fearless, slightly reckless spirit of discovery: the heart of an explorer and the humor of a guy who still gets tangled in his own line. Slayers of the Lost Trout celebrates the wild chase, the timeless adventure, and the fact that every great catch starts with the courage to cast into mystery.
